We are a small seasonal resort and are unable to offer the same flexibility as larger hotels. When we receive bookings we have to book staff, supplies and transport resources to be available for your stay. We take 50% deposit for accommodation at time of booking and charge the balance 90 days prior to arrival. If you book within 90 days of arrival, full payment will be charged.
For optional services such as catering, experiences and travel upgrades, a 10-20% non-refundable deposit will be taken and the balance will be paid direct by guests to our partners.
Cancellations made prior to 90 days of arrival will be charged a $200 per person cancellation fee and all other deposit balances will be refunded. If you cancel within 90 days of arrival we will charge $200 per person cancellation fee and we will release your accommodation to other guests. If we are able to secure a booking for your accommodation, we will refund the amount of received from that guest’s booking less the cancellation fee.
Our policies are necessary for such a small, seasonal and service-orientated business. We strongly recommend you take travel insurance.
We are a remote wilderness property, with steep cliffs, deep water, uneven trails, fallen trees, wild animals and other natural hazards. We take guest safety extremely seriously and our wilderness team does everything they can to make the property as safe as possible and to alert all guest to the dangers that exist. However you do stay with us at your own risk. All guests will be sent a liability waiver with their booking. You can see a copy of the liability waiver here.
Liability Waivers must be signed and scanned and faxed ahead of arrival and also originals will be handed over to our staff or water taxi / aircraft operator prior to boarding.
