Driving directions from Vancouver- Horseshoe Bay – BC Ferries

If you plan on driving here are the directions From Vancouver via BC Ferries:

To get to us, you will depart the ferry at Gibsons (Langdale), from there you will drive about 1hr 20 min just to Egmont, BC.
The Below is a map link to where you will park your vehicle. The address is 5733 Egmont Road ( look for a sign that says Moccasin Valley).

Driving Directions from BC Ferries Langdale to Egmont – Moccassin Valley

You will park your car there for $10 / day, there is a general reception area and they will show you where you can drop your luggage.

Once parked, you will board a boat to get to the Wilderness Resort & Retreat – Cawley Point. The boat is provided by HiTide Water Taxi and will be picking you up at 3:30 pm, they will have your name. The price of the boat ride is included in your package, however, if you miss the boat at pick up time you will need to arrange transportation with HiTide to get you to the resort on your own. If you arrive early, Moccasin Valley has a general reception area with a few activities or you can go into Egmont, where you will find a pub and a small store. Or you can do the easy 4 km hike to view the Skookumchuck Narrows. It is a well-developed trail, with minimal elevation change, which takes about one hour to walk. Just remember to be back to Mocassin Valley reception area for your 3:30 boat pickup !

The boat ride is a 20 minute journey thru the world famous Skookumchuck Narrows We have specifically selected this location to provide you with an amazing boat tour right at the beginning of your holiday!

Once you reach the Wilderness Resort & Retreat – Cawley Point, you will be greeted by staff who will give you an orientation of the area. We are a casual relaxed resort and welcome you to explore the property freely. Our one request is that you do not bring any food into your tent or yurt as it is an animal attractant.
